Analytics Cuvettes are used in chromatography to measure the concentration of analytes in liquid samples. They are also frequently used in spectroscopy, especially in UV-Vis spectroscopy, but also in fluorescence spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy and infrared spectroscopy. These rectangular or square vessels have an individual layer thickness and are available in different sizes. The optical properties of the cuvette are crucial, as they minimise the influence of the sample matrix and enable accurate analysis. In order to perform precise measurements, the cuvettes must have a high optical transparency. Therefore, the material often used is quartz glass or optical glass, which has minimal absorption of light in the UV and visible range.
